Altec Capri 887a

i just bought a beautiful pair Altec Capri 887a speakers. Does anyone knows more about them? (specs, speakers, etc..)
What will be a good price for them?

Not really, the only reason I know they existed is there's a little 'advertisement' on the inside cover of the Altec 'Odyssey' album, which tells precious little. The only info you might not know from just taking a tape measure to them is it has a 2.5 kHz XO point. The local consumer retailer apparently didn't think enough of them to even pay for a demo pair, so I guess they're worth whatever a 'dyed-in-the-wool' Altec fan is willing to pay for them, otherwise they're just another dirt cheap yard sale item like most other two way bookshelf systems.

I have a pal who has them and loves them, but mine may have been blown and are not so sweet sounding.
Very nice sound.
